Egypt project reflections

The activities that helped me the most were the biography videos and the websites. They gave a lot of helpful information about their family, relationships, life and death. However, some of the websites said different things and it was a little confusing. Yet I managed to get the most reasonable answers. But I would of wanted to learn more about how the pyramids would of looked when they were going to be finished and how the Egyptians made their pyramids. We accomplished a lot of work by working together. We helped each other out when we got stuck and
we got twice the work done.  No one was doing anything other than the project.
I think everyone did their fair share. No one was off task, everyone was working. And we all got a fair amount of work done
If I got to re-do the project For the puppet video I would want to raise my puppet up and  prevent it from constantly sinking. I think I could of done a better job with the puppet video, but all in all it was a successful project. We got are work done, and no one was playing games.

group dynamics

I usually take the role of one of the main characters that talk often and are important to the story.  I like that role because I like being the main characters. I like working with my friends because they have so many ideas that we can add in the story. And we get twice work done. But, sometimes they get distracted and we can't get half the work done. I usually resolve group conflict by telling them that
we wouldn't get anything done by arguing and I would try to settle them down. It works most of the time but sometimes they keep going no matter what I do.  What doesn't work is gaining up on each other so to make the other person see his mistake. That separates friends and makes people feel left out. I would tell them to knock it off or stop it. If I wasn't being listened to I would speak up and try to get their attention, and if it works I would tell them my plan. The most difficult situation I have ever been in is when the teacher wasn't in the room and my group, my friends were arguing at each other. It was hard seeing all my friends yelling and screaming at each other.

Cream puff threat: what would you do?

If I was threatened to give all my classmates a cream puff I would
Just say: "I had to do all these chores while you guys played outside. I deserve a cream puff because I worked hard and had no choice. And that's that." It wouldn't be fair if Holling did all those chores and his classmates who didn't do anything really, demand cream puffs since he got or deserved one. Or maybe that was Mrs. Bakers intention?
